Bottle: Hazy, dirty golden, mid-sized off-white head, that quickly diminishes to a small foamy layer; a phenolic-wheaty touch is detectable in the fruity (bananas) nose; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; lemony-wheaty finish, almost without any tartness. O.K. IMO a solis standard Weizen.........

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Fine foam. Tastes very frutiy and fresh, the finish not too sourish. Really good hefeweizen!

Bottled at Cinema, Aschaffenburg, Bavaria. Cloudy pale orange, creamy head. Yeasty induced banana esters and papery malt dominate the nose. Sweet and rather fruity with medium body. A refreshing standard weizen.

White-orange head leaving lace over cloudy orange beer. Cloves, and a bit of banana and orange, lively nose, reviving. Esters and solvent liberal in the taste, less fruity. Rather notes of fruit bubblegum, but sweetness is restrained; Medium to well bodied, buttery-slick. Decent Weizen, more lively than some. Brewery claims it are the open fermenters, and this makes sense.

(Bottle 50 cl) Now known as: "Distelhäuser Hefe-Weizen". Beautiful orangey golden, surprisingly almost clear in the beginning with the sediment rather hard to shake loose. Not a very lively head either. But there’s nothing wrong with neither aroma nor flavours. Lots of the typical fruit-esters with notes of banana etc. Rather nice Hefe. 270505

Very classic Weizen: Banana and clove nose. Cloudy yellow, good creamy head. Banana and vanilla tastenotes. Slightly fizzly mouthfeel. Simple, clean and good wheat beer.

Bottle. Primarily banana malt aroma with hints of peach, orange and cloves. Cloudy yellow tan color with large head. Primarily a sweet banana malt flavor with hint of clove. Very nice body. A very good sweet, full-bodied Weizen.
