Aroma of bready malts, caramel, sweetish fruits, spicy yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Decent brew, but not very memorable.

Tap at Winterbierfestival 2015, Gouda: Hazy amber/blonde colored brew with medium bitter taste and hints of coriander and banana. Like an Belgian Witbier on steroids or something like that.

Brown colour, beige foam. Nose of caramel, brown sugar, spices. Taste is medium sweet, a bit spicy, medium body.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 30 Aug 2019) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of caramel, orange peel and black-currant. Malty taste with caramel, orange peel, black-currant, dried fruit, candy sugar and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and warming. Quite nice.

Bottle. Orange amber color. Soft orange and spicy notes in the aroma. Malty sweetish, soft spicy flavor. marmelade, next to the soft herbal hopbitterness. Medium bodied. Not unpleasant.

Das schwarze Ettikett ziert ein Hase im Schneeflockendesign, was aber nichts mit dem Bier zu tun hat. Es ist ein stark malzbetontes Bier mit dunkelroter Farbe. Es liegt sehr schwer im Glas (und Magen) und steigt schnell zu Kopf. Es überwiegt die Malzsüße; von Hopfen habe ich weniger gemerkt.
