A fresh, earthy and rebellious cider with a fierce and tangy soured apple edge. This is a feisty but proper cider with a twist for those brave enough to try something different.

500ml bottle from Friends of Ham, Leeds. Sparkling, amber gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apple with caramel, earth and funk. Taste is tart, sharp, apple, vinegary hints, some citrusy zest and earthy, funky, horsey barnyard brett. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Close to clear, golden body with a fast disappearing small white head. Quite heavy carbonation. Strong and clear apple aroma, fresh apples, no cellar notes. Flavor is also pretty straight forward fresh, apples, pleasant acidic. Medium body and aftertaste in the same direction. A straight forward kind of apple cider, nothing extraordinary but tasty and refreshing. Highly enjoyable.

A lightly hazy golden colored cider with some white head, or bubbles. It's lightly funky, grassy and with a distinct apple core aroma, and lots of fresh apples. Fresh apples dominates the flavor too, still with the same funky and grassy elements found in the aroma, and some acidity. Tart, medium to full bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level. A really fine cider indeed. 171001
