The Double IPL is the bolshier take on our original India Pale Lager.
With the dial turned right up, this lager sings tangerine, passionfruit and subtle coconut characters balanced by it’s super clean and crisp body.
Rounded off by a gratifying assertive bitterness, the Double IPL is big, it’s bold, and it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some earthy and mild grainy notes. Flavour is herbal, grassy, some floral and mild toffeeish tones with some bread. Smooth and mildly bitter.

ABV: 7.8%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, exotic fruit, green. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, citrus - herbs, green, grass, exotic fruit, pale malt, fruity malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220521]

--Canned, from Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. -- Hazy golden, mid sized head. Mild aroma of citrus and hay. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Hay and bread. Long bitter finish. A solid piece, but not much of the promised tropical fruits.

(Can) Pours clear golden with thin sudsy head. Nice aroma of pine and tropical fruit. Medium body, smooth with fine bright carbonation. Taste is a great balance of malt and hops. There’s plenty of hop bitterness especially in the finish. The malt is light and biscuity. Very drinkable.

Can served at Craft Intersect at the Beerfarm Thailand launch. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits, light alcohol, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, juicy citrus, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering warm alcohol bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
