A Märzen-style Fest Bier brewed with the finest German malted barley, aromatic Bavarian noble hops and traditional lager yeast. This rich malty lager is one of the few that remain true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810. We hope you enjoy this fall offering. Prosit.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to mug.
Appearance: burnt orange cloudiness with a nice looking foamy white head which slid off and left some light messy lace.
Aroma: caramel/toffee malts, white bread, toasted nuts and grassy/floral/earthy hops
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend sweetly with a nice mild toastiness rolling in underneath; then an earthy to malty aftertaste
Texture: medium to full bodied, sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue. Finishes crisp, bready and nutty
Overall: I say a nicely done Marzen I'd be willing to have again.

Bottle. Toasted malt aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, bread and earthy hops. Pours clear copper colored with a thin white head that has little retention and some lacing. Starts with caramel, toffee and bready malt flavors. Finishes smooth with toasted malt and earthy hop flavors. Excellent Oktoberfest.

great dark copper pour, with a tiny head that doesnt last long at all. Aromas of sweet malt, and a tiny bit of hops, with some odd yeasty notes. Flavour is quite malty, nice and sweet, but it doesnt seem to be very true to the style, i’m really enjoying the swwet malt, but i’m missing that bready chewy malts i was expecting. A tatsy enjoyable brew, but not bang on for the style.

Pour is a cloudy copper with a large white head. Aroma is a little toasted bread and caramel malt. Flavor is about the same toasted wheat bread with an ever so slight caramel malt sweetness on the back end. Decent but also a bit thin.

Bottle. Typical fest beer color, kindah copper colored and clear. Nose is malty lager. First taste lacks a desired level of carbonation but on the tongue its quite friendly and easy to go. Perhaps some toffee, not sure. Not too much, if any, hop bitterness, I like that. Civilized and easy drinken for a 6% beer, it hides the alky content well. Smooth, friendly and quaffable, fer sher. Nice even finish that leaves you wanting more. Not bad! One of the better domestic fest beers I've had in a while.

Red caramel with a large foamy head that lingered forever and left good lacing. Sweet, tangy and fruity with a hint of toffee. Long finish. Medium bodied and smooth.
