A refreshing, amber, relatively malty, 3.8%ABV version of an IPA. Brewed with Scottish, sown, grown and malted barley, light crystal malt and wheat malt. The medium bitterness comes from a mixture of Target, Goldings hops and the citrusy/floral/grassy aroma is derived from late hopping with a variety called Cascade. It has a medium-dry finish.

Bottle at Caledonian Craftroom, Dunfermline, 06/10/24. Golden amber with a good sized lasting off white head. Nose is dried fruits, biscuit, grains, hedgerow. Taste comprises fruit slice, brown bread, bisxuit, herb, malt forwards. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable bitter if a touch twiggy.

Lime and plenty of oak. A hint of smoke, leather. Dark copper pour with decent head. Bitter end with some tang. Certainly not a hoppy IPA. Bottle at the Whiskey Trail -- only place I could find a Fife tick today, including in Fife...

33cl Bottle at The Stag, Falkland. Marketed as a Session IPA. What a waste. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of wet socks, grain, some veggies, totally off. Flavour follows, accompanied with some buttery notes. Awful. Light bodied.

Bottled picked up from thier market stall in Perth. It pours clear amber with only a touch of head. The aroma is fairly muted, toasted grain, dull biscuit, oiliness and floral notes. The taste is dry, light airy malt, toasty grain is the main element, peppery spice, weak soapy citrus, grassy and floral with a dry, grainy finish. Light body and limited carbonation. A bit thin and lacklustre.
