Bottle. Really great beer. Dark amber in color with a nice head. Aroma is fruit bread and roasted grains. Taste is a wonderful complex flavor with a sweet fruit cake up front and a suprising hoppy finish.

(Bottle) Brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dark bread, raisins, dark fruit and a touch of coffee. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dark bread, dried fruit, raisins, cinnamon, some coffee, anise and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Rounded, tasty and well balanced doppelbock, with a slightly American touch. Very nice.

Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is hop, malt, caramel, alcohol. Flavour is hop, malt, fruit, alcohol, caramel. Full body. Nice beer.

Right on the money doppelbock, malty and mildly sweet. Dark amber/brown body, aroma is sweet malt, molasses. Nice creamy head. Taste is also mostly malt, more subdued than the aroma, but right on target for the style.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Great Divide Wolfgang ].Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, cookie, caramel, sweet malt, candy, caramelized malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, caramelized malt - malt extract, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140301]

Med ölföreningen julen 2013. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, torkad frukt, marsipan, jäst, russin och chokladtoner. Tydlig beska. En aning spritig och hade tjänat på att lagras något år men redan nu finns här fina smaker att åtnjuta.
