Smell of nuts and candy. Hazel colour, brown head. Aroma of syrup, cough mixture. Sweet, slightly bitter. Also aroma of oak, rum. Very lively carbon.

Bottle. Poured a dark ruby brown color with a off-white head. Aroma was chocolate notes, maple sugar, alcohol. Flavor was fruity, dried fruits. Flavor was sweet, dried, pitted fruits. Malts. Pretty good, very warming.

Mørk brunrød farge med høyt nydelig tykkt beige skum som legger seg som ett lokk over ølen og blir liggende hele veien ned. Aroma av sjokolade, kaffe, karamell og stenfrukter som de mest fremtredende. Litt brent/røk smak. Smaker også at denne ølen har høy alkoholprosent. God!

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a clear dark amber brown with a gray head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains that are slightly earthy, toffee and just a hint of smoke. Flavor also has sweet grains and toffee and is backed by a slight earthy and smokey note.

355ml bottle. Dark ruby colour and a medium sized, tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruits (plums & raisins), spices, hops and vegetables. Medium/heavy sweetness and somewhat bitter taste. Average body with quite soft texture and medium carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear Burgundy, medium creamy tab head, nice lacing. Aroma is malt, caramel, toffee, peat, brown sugar. Flavor is medium sweet, bit of bitterness, touch of plastic, a bit smoky. Medium plus body, creamy.

Tap at Great Divide, Denver. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a liqourice roasted malt spicy fruit palate. A really flavour packed beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is nutty, malt, caramel, bread. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
