Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 8/28/12, Bottled on 5/9/12
Aroma: The nose has some fruity notes, a good amount of malt, a bit of earth, and some grainy notes
Appearance: It pours a caramel color with a huge foam of beige head and some foamy head
Flavor: The taste has a good amount of malt, and some dry hoppy fruit flavors as well
Palate: The body is medium, it has an overly fizzy carbonation, and a rather dry finish
Overall Impression: The heavy fizziness of this one really takes away a lot from the drinkability. There is plenty going on, but it isn't well rounded, and really just doesn't work all that well in my opinion. Maybe I got a bad bottle, I don't know. Mostly though, it is really still that intense fizziness that hurts the enjoyment immensely for me. This one has one of the worst mouthfeels I can remember on an otherwise decent beer.

Tap. Pours clear light amber with a small off-white head that leaves little lacing. Aroma is faint citrus, slightly sweet malt, some fruit, perhaps grape? Taste is medium sweet malt with a milt bitter finish. Clean and crisp, a bit watery. Overall a decent, but nondescript, beer.

Very good workhorse of a pale ale. Pours a nice copper-yellow with mid-sized head. Aroma and flavor is marked by hop bitterness and some citrus. Very smooth finish, with relatively little bitterness. Great beer to accompany meals, etc.
