Re-rating (previous 2.5). Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L002/20 (BBF ABR2021). AROMA: medium hop aroma with a floral component, resin, dried grass. medium-low malt background with a slight caramelly character. faint sulphur that fades. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. medium-low ivory head with good retention. TASTE: initial medium hop flavor with a floral-like character (similar to lychee), slight stone fruit. medium-low malt notes with a toffee character. medium-high to high bitterness with a semi-dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium body with a slight texture. medium carbonation. OVERALL: an odd hop aroma for an american IPA. ok nonetheless.
