Bomber and a major gusher, half of it just fountained on the table.

Poured from a bottle it is a dark brown with a slight head. The aroma is citrus with some coffee bourbon aroma. The taste is bitter with a grapefruit flavor that finishes in coffee.

On tap at Yardhouse SLP. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains with a bit of roasted malt and a good amount of pine. Flavor is much more pine forward backed by roasted malts and dark grains.

Many thanks to Chris for getting this bottle for me! Smooth malty-fresh, nice roast with fresh floral hops. Great smooth and bitter roasted. The aftertaste is nice floral fresh, bitter roasted, long-intense-roasted-floral. Great and nice dry for the 7%!

bottle - Near black, one finger tan head, roasty aroma, flavor is pleasantly bitter with roasted malt, chocolate, some resin, and a lingering bitter finish. It’s full bodied and enjoyable, a very good brew.

Bomber from Costco, Oak Brook! Nice hoppy smell right under the cap, Pours a brown head that looks like it came off a stout, but it’s much thicker. Funerary Black beer underneath. Taste is mildly hoppy, with some graininess from whatever the different malts are. But its a nice combination, with the alcohol waiting respectably in the background, and a more balanced beer than the usual hophead’s delight. Feels like it’s sessionable, maybe with a bomber it’s more for sharing.

A dark brown IPA with a thick frothy brown head. In aroma, nice bitter chocolate with smooth fruity notes, resinous hops, nice. In mouth, a bitter chocolate malt with light floral and grassy hop, grapefruit, ok. On tap at Coney Island on tap.

Dark brown to black color, small brownish head. Interesting aroma, original; mild coffee, dark cookies, light smoke, fire wood. Smooth and dry mouthfeel; a bit too ashy, roasted malt flavor, with hints of fruits. Ashy final.
