Together with our friends at Other Half, NY, we’ve brewed this fully packed and spiced up big sour that is as easy as one two three: One beer. Two breweries. Three types of ginger… and a touch of lemon. Root!
We met Other Half out of New York through our mutual friends Omnipollo. We were going to New York and Omnipollo set us up with the guys for a brew day. We brewed Light Therapy together. A fantastically plush cocoa nib, sesame seed and coconut imperial stout. For the re-brew back here at our place we wanted to do something completely different but equally extra everything. Ideas went flying back and forth and in the end it boiled down to a sour, a big sour. With ginger. Loads and loads of ginger. All the ginger.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Light orange with a small head. Aroma and taste dominated by ginger and lime. The body was on the light side and the bitterness was low. Quite refreshing but also a bit nagging.

Oh my goodness Ginger mania. Flavor and aroma was: Ginger, ginger, ginger and a touch of lime So if you like ginger. This one is for you Actually quite refreshing when served very cold on a hot summer day [Bottle from Trembling Madness Drinks Shop in York, England]
