Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Dark copper with a creamy head. It’s a hoppy ale and not really mild. It is however fuller tasting than its strength may suggest.

Third, cask at Crosse Keys (JDW). Shared with Finn. A reddish shade to a deep mahogany coloured body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Moderate malt-fruity aromas, mid-sweet. mixed taste of berry-fruits and mid-sweet brown malts. Ends with a malt-fruity touch. Pretty nice. (London 19.10.2019).

Cask-conditioned at the Punch Bowl (JDW), York October 2019. Chestnut in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some floral hops, red berry fruits, brown sugar, sweet malts and a gentle finish. Good.

Delt med Rune. Amber. Lett karamellaroma. Skum langs glasset. Smaken tørket aprikos. Tørr avslutning.

A good fruity, malty mild with a touch of toasty toffee and an earthy malt finish. Nice stuff.

Cask at 4% at the Hope Tap, Reading. Brown with no head and a middling fizz - good condition again. Sweet summer fruit up front - definite strawberry actually. A light woodiness and some creamy toffee follows. Maybe a little watery but drinkable and pretty pleasant.
