On cask at Port Street Beer House, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out soft bready malt, gentle tangy hops, and a hint of floral character. Flavour is well-hopped, with bitter floral and tangy hops, and a soft bready malt base. Reasonable expression of the Rakau, finishing bitter and dry. Good.

Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Light thin malts, mildly sweet. Bitter pithy hops, earthy too. Nice lemony citrus kicks in, touches of lime and lemon peel. Very mild hop spice. Bitter dry finish. Liked this, no Mallinsons soap and unapologetically bitter.
