90 Shilling is our smooth and complex flagship beer. A medium-bodied amber ale with a distinct burnished copper color and a deeply pleasant aroma. The name 90 Shilling comes from the Scottish method of taxing beer. Only the highest quality beers were taxed 90 Shillings. We think you’ll find this original ale brilliantly refreshing, and worth every Shilling.

On tap at Mali Medo, Tkalča, Zagreb after Fakin Craft Fest. Clear deep amber, small to medium firm creamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, toasty, bready. Texture is smooth and soft. Malty flavours, toasted bread, hops nicely supporting with earthy and herbal notes. Not very rich, but drinkable and appealing. Moderate to high carbonation. Dry toasty finish.

Pours a coppery color with a creamy tan head. Malty aroma. Taste is a smooth balance of caramel malt with a floral and spicy hop finish. A little bit of citrus bitterness.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is hazy, medium brown with nice sparkle, finger-width off-white head, and nice lacing. Aroma is bready malts, mild nuts. Taste is as aroma. Palate light-to-medium bodied with average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is a good beer. It is not staggering nor influential but is a good drink.

Pours amber from the bottle. Aroma is dandelion, boquet of garden weeds, cereal, a bit dank. Taste is mildly bitter, but still relatively malt forward. Mild fruity undertones. Overall a mild, understated effort that tastes better as it warms.
