Bottle at Ungstrup’s. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops with notes of grass and citrus. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of fruit and spices. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Nice but a little too spicy for an IPA.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with a thin tan head of foam that leaves behind sparse spotty lacing. The faint aroma feebly offers up a sense of malts and citrus. Unlike the timid aroma the flavor offers up some fairly nice notes. I get a decent degree of citrus hop flavor mixing with some sweet malts with just a mild resiny hop bitterness in the background. Fairly smooth unchallenging IPA that, if found fresh, isn’t a bad choice for a tasty IPA.

12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours a hazy copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malts with floral and tropical hops. The taste is earthy, herbal, almost minty hops, tea leaves and caramel malts. Medium bodied. Not sure I like the hop profile, but its solid.

Pours a rather hazy copper-yellow. Little to no head--quickly dissipates. Aroma is one of rather muted hops. Flavor is a good, basic citrus/bitter pine hops combination, though there is just a bit of a chemically aftertaste. Not terrible, but not all that great either.
