Captain Lawrence Smoothie Dreams Ale Brewed with Milk Sugar, Raspberry, & Vanilla 7.2% Pouring a salmon pink that brought to mind grapefruit juice. The aroma is tart raspberry with some lactose sweetness. The taste is tart raspberry and milk sugar sweetness. It finishes tangy and dry. Not complex but solid and it hides the ABV really well, I thought it was 5%...

Tap @ TBE Brewing, Ebisu. Pours pink and whitish-hazy, some white bubbles on the top. Nose lightly tart, some berries and some lacto. Taste is full of lacto, berry marmalade with reduced sweetness. Berries, creamy and lacto-chalky, not that much real beer character here actually. Tasty and refreshing.
