To create a recipe so tropical and fruity without the addition of fruit was no feat our team of brewers would leave up to the gods. They took floral and citrus notes from Mosaic, Loral and Mandarina Bavaria hops to dish up a mouthwatering fruit punch to the palate. Get deserted on your own island or share with others. One thing is for sure: there is no need to light this one. It is already on fire.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong. Poured a very slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, grassy, light fruit woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth, fresh, fruity, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

This beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium frothy bone white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, floral hops and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Deep light amber and almost copper coloured body with a decent one to two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of soapy and grassy hops with a touch of citrus and a moderate amount of malt and yeast around the edges. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and citrusey hop flavours at first that present a nice punch of bitterness and flavour with some lighter juice and citrus flavours right behind as well as a relatively well-balanced malt structure. Aftertaste shows more of the malt than I expected with a relatively well-balanced and hoppy bite from the fresh hops as well as a small sweetness that is picked up even a few minutes after taking a last sip. Overall, a nice enough IPA that shows the varietals quite well with a moderate balance of malts and a good rich and variant measure of sweetness and funk in the finish. Not worth going out and trying to find this beer, but if the price is right, pick it up, which is not often at all, that I'd recommend buying a Stone beer! I sampled thsi 65 cL bottle purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$5,99 sampled at home on Easter Sunday, 01-April-2018.

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff . Bright golden pour, small skin of head, rings of lacing. Aroma is bready malts with a hint of savory hops. Taste ramps up the hops , mild dank notes with a peppery snap. Not as sharp as you might expect, but a nice spicy character.
