To create a recipe so tropical and fruity without the addition of fruit was no feat our team of brewers would leave up to the gods. They took floral and citrus notes from Mosaic, Loral and Mandarina Bavaria hops to dish up a mouthwatering fruit punch to the palate. Get deserted on your own island or share with others. One thing is for sure: there is no need to light this one. It is already on fire.

Bomber from Woodman's Menomonee Falls. Brewed in California. Best by 5/19/18. Clear vibrant amber, large foamy, rocky white head, good retention. Nice looking in a teku. Aroma of resin, tropical fruit, pine, berry. The taste is tropical fruit, resin, melon, pine, dandelion, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, well balanced. I was afraid this contained scorpion peppers. Phew!

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/9/2018. Pours crystal clear deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Really awesome mix of vibrant, dank, and juicy hop complexity; with a nice bready malt backbone. A really enjoyable offering. Great hop showcase of Mandarina, Loral, and Mosaic.

Grapefruit, lilly nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lace. Rosehip, grapefruit, curry. Medium body, easy carbonation. Lately I've been in a rut with Stone, but this had just a little spicy something to remind me that they can still bring it .

On draught at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Pours a clear pale gold with an inch of foam, good head retention and lacing.

Smells of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit and pine.

Taste is of tropical fruit, mango and pineapple, grapefruit, pine, tastes dry hopped. Weak cracker malt underlying.

Nice mouthfeel.

Good and solid but not something I would drink over and over again.

On tap at Pizzeria Luigi, San Diego. Golden with a small white head. Fresh with hops, floral notes, citrus and some light malt. The body was medium and the finish quite bitter.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a mostly clear kind of dark yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was very resin-heavy. Some boozy notes. Juicy, alcohol notes were a touch harsh on the nose. The flavor was really nice, though a touch heavy on a citrus, hop resin kind of note.

Crazy fruit-forward IPA, made all the more interesting by the lack of adjuncts. Fruit punch overtones, lots of berry, mandarin orange, pineapple, and lemon, all backed up by black pepper notes and a persistent bitterness. Malts provide a mild caramel-tinged sweetness, while the back end grows piney and floral, leading to a manageable berry-laced finish. Pours a gorgeous bright gold with a permanent white cap and thick layers of lace. Nose is an unassuming mix of pine and pepper with a little orange thrown in for good measure. Perky, oily texture is spot-on. Tasty brew.
