Bottle. A mostly clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has the grains dominating, with some dusty cellar notes and dried fruits. It’s medium bodied and quite soft on the carbonation. Semi-dry. The flavor has caramel, grains and a generic fruityness. Some bitterness towards the finish. A really boring one, and to be honest, not very good either. 140117

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and grainy. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with a little alcohol. How is this a Dortmunder/Helles? 170114

Clear medium amber colour, good rocky white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma caramel, roasty malts, herbal hops, grainy yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, boozy notes. Medium to heavy body, creamy texture, soft carbonation but with a zest (because of the alcohol), well-balanced sweetbitter finish, good.

33 cl. bottle sampled thx! to Kraddel. Clear darker amber, small off-white head. Smells of pale grains, sticky, metallic syrup, reminds me a bit of a pale lager but way thicker, way sweeter. Taste is same grains, very sugary, sweeteners, nasty artificial bitterness, metals, lingering bitter medicinal herbs,... Thick body, lots of chemicals, tastes like a mix between a medicinal drink and a pale lager. Not enjoyable for me.

What to say? It’s not very good, but not very bad as well. Just plain average.

Refrigerated 30 cl brown bottle poured into a glass. Pours light amber with small off-white head. Medium/low carbonation, and light body. Taste is fruity, spicy, and bitter. Lots of flavor, better as it warms, but not my thing. I would have guessed this was a bitter.
