From a 355ml can on 26/7/2018. Pours a clear deep golden with a biggish head. Has a herbal, resiny aroma. The taste features some light tropical and stone fruit sweetness up front. But it's the bitterness that holds sway here - big, dry and herbal with masses of resin and pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very solid, but could be a touch better balanced.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange body. Big, pillowy, fluffy white head. Rather bitter West Coast IPA. Rather dank, the mosaic don't dominate like they usually do. Has some IBU action going on for sure. Well made, bold, ful bodied IPA.

Draught at Stone Berlin. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruit and tropical impressions. Taste is bitter. Dry, fruity finish with spicy hops. Nice.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/31/2018. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big ruby grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, light biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big ruby grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, light biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of ruby grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, light biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome El Dorado/Mosaic hop showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy balanced hop complexity; solid pale malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, loved the hop profile as expected.

Can. Pours a pale gold/yellow with a big sudsy head and aromas of grass, citrus, a bit of peach and some honey. Flavor has a big fruit bite up front... kind of a pear and peach flavor I associate with Mosaic. From there it slides into a bit of a citrus and lawn clippings finish with a touch of pine. Decent enough, especially after the disappointing nose.

Pours a clear brilliant gold with an inch of foam, poured carefully and slowly.
Smells of grapefruit, light grass, dank but not overly so. I can't discern any malt presence.
Grapefruit taste, somewhat dank, bitter, cracker malt there but pretty hidden. Smooth flavours, a good IPA if you are first starting out with the style, imho.
Velvety smooth mouthfeel due in part to the carbonation which is lightish.
I'm very impressed with this IPA.

Pours a bright, slightly hazed gold with a lingering white cap and modest lacing. Nose is earth and pine with traces of citrus; seems rather subdued for a Stone offering. Taste offers biscuit-n-cracker malts with a mixture of melon, berry, peach, and earth from the hops, with an appreciable bitterness on the finish. Mild floral notes create an herbal, fruity fade. Again, seems to fit right in line with Stone's current IPA flavor profile, which isn't a bad thing, but doesn't do much for making memorable beers. (Except for Scorpion Bowl. You remember Scorpion Bowl.) Creamy texture has a slight spikiness to it, but otherwise a tasty pint.

Pour is a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma is a red berry and not much else. Flavor is mostly dry cara-malt with very little hop presence. Finish is a little bitter and leaves nothing on the tongue. This was way disappointing. Very little hop and way to heavy a malt bill. Poor effort from Stone with this one
