Since 1970, the brewery has been brewing a special beer to give as a new years present to their best clients. (the name of this beer “Avec les bons Vœux de la brasserie Dupont » means « With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont » ).
Because of the increasing success, they started to commercialise this “cadeau” but kept the name. Although the demands were considerable, only a small quantity was brewed, so they had to make a reservation list, even months before new year.
This Bons Vœux is coppery blond, has very fine hoparomas and tastes bitter, fruity and mild.
Our selection of yeasts, in combination with a longduring riping process, on a “dry hopping” base, are creating a typical and complex aroma and taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result in a harmonious and well-balanced beer, full of unexpected and complex aromas.

Golden orange with a firm off-white head. Candied dried fruits, bright spice, yeast, earthy, bright citrus. Medium bodied. Finish has some spice and black pepper. Very beautiful beer.

Tap at Beergeek. Soooo. This feels like a completely normal saison dupont. What is happening here? Not a single hint at its extra strength in any of the sensorics. That is both nice in a way, definitely promotes the drinkability. But also feels a bit too ordinary. Overall good but not great.

As usual, a great tripel, a perfect harmony with the aromas, warm and subtle alcool, so fruity and malty, discreet hop, buying it at Crissier, ex grain d'Orges, enjoying this Belgian treasure at Epalinges.

Color oro ligeramente cobrizo, turbia, soberbia corona de espuma blanca bien conservada. Aroma agreste a la par que atractivo, con recuerdos de campo y granja, granero, paja, levadura, pan, especias, trigo, centeno, galleta campurriana... Buen carácter en boca, rústica, cereal, heno, pimienta, hierba seca, final amargo, seca, excelente.

Pours cloudy bubbly golf from 2016 bottle. Sone yeast funk and floral with spiciness. Good stuff

Sweet, Fruity Esters, Belgian Yeast, Warming Alcohol. Sweet, Fruity Esters, Belgian Yeast, Lasting Warming Alcohol Aftertaste. Smooth And Easy Going For ABV. Nice. Enjoyed It. Recommended...

Bottle at home. Pours a deeper, orangeish golden with white head. Nose is peppery, grassy, with a bubblegum ester touch. Taste is sweetish, somewhat boozy, pale malts, bread, sugar and spicy yeast notes show. It closes with a sweetish, candi finish, it’s got a big body and high carbonation. A bit too boozy, also I’m not really in the mood for a big beer so I should perhaps revisit this at some point.
