The Bons Vœux is a blond top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Since 1970, the brewery has been brewing a special beer to give as a new years present to their best clients. (the name of this beer “Avec les bons Vœux de la brasserie Dupont » means « With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont » ).
Because of the increasing success, they started to commercialise this “cadeau” but kept the name. Although the demands were considerable, only a small quantity was brewed, so they had to make a reservation list, even months before new year.
This Bons Vœux is coppery blond, has very fine hoparomas and tastes bitter, fruity and mild.
Our selection of yeasts, in combination with a longduring riping process, on a “dry hopping” base, are creating a typical and complex aroma and taste.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result in a harmonious and well-balanced beer, full of unexpected and complex aromas.

Bottled the 288th day of 2017. 750ml bottle, last had in 2009 via a trade.

Pours a brilliantly clear gold with oodles of billowy foam. Pretty awesome lacing.

Smells big time hoppy with a fruitiness that reminds me of pears and light pitted fruit. Yeastyand to my nose, hints of Brett though they be mild.

Wonderful taste. A hoppy edge throughout, pears and light pitted fruit, spicy, very very dry. An impressive look with every pour. Just impressive all around.

Édeskés, alkoholos, habja azonnal eloszlik mint a dobozos németeknek. Gyönyörű apró sörplanktonokkal teli, lennék bálna a te óceánodban.

375ml bottle. Pours pale orange with big stable foamy head. Very complex aroma. Pear, brandy, cognac, honey, floral notes, apple wine, citrus, vinegar. Pleasant alcohol. Mild taste. Medium bitterness and sweetness, slight fruity sourness. Full bodied, fizzy carbonated, creamy texture. Very sophisticated Tripel. The aromas change quickly. This is Belgian brewing art at its best.

Lovely hazy shining golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Looks very fine. Nice intensity in the aroma. Very pleasant. Medium + body and a fine carbonation level. Not to rich as a lot of these are. Easy to drink. Balanced acidity and a dry ending. Good complexity. Yeast, fruity, citric and some spices in the flavor. Dangerously well masked alcohol. Lovely tasty beer.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, dense white head. Taste: Very mild, yeasty, lightly hints of yellow fruit. Notes of bread, malty with mild notes of hoppy bitterness and some very lightly sour hints. Very snooth, almost foam-like. One of the few tripels that I really like very much. Top beer.
