Tap @ ACBF 2012. Black and opague. Rye, roast, ash and a hint of whisky in the aroma. Malty, velvety flavor with dark chocolate and rye bread. Creamy mouthfeel. The alcohol is there but well hidden and the Speyside is not very prominent.

Bottle thanks to MattyO. It pours black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich, dark chocolate, cookie dough, dried fruits, fruit cake, toffee, fudge, fruity speyside malt whiskyand honeycomb crunch. The taste is rich roasted malt, chocolate brownie, spice, warming malt whisky, quite fruity, choc chip muffin, vanilla and sponge cake with a slick finish. Full body and moderate, foamy carbonation, pretty tasty all round. The whisky character is well integrated.
