Tundra is our attempt at making a TIPA that is for all intents and purposes, "drinkable." The ridiculous amount of our base malt that is required to make this beer builds up to create a very simple but functional malt character that is overwhelmed and over saturated with the juiciest, stickiest, and most potent hops we could source. Tundra's hop bill is over-the-top to the point that it requires three separate dry hoppings to get the most out of the hops and give the base beer a little time to lose its heat and morph into an absolute creeper of an 11% beer. Aromas of sweet fruit, fresh cantaloupe, orange juice, pink starburst, and a finish of lemon/lime.

Pours super clear, golden. Nose has some honey, bit or marmalade, ripe fruits. Very nice and clean although possibly this can might be a bit heatstruck. Taste is smooth, fruity, I am getting some melon, honey and bit of bitterness. Still feels much lighter to drink than 11% but hops have faded a bit. Body is still great. Overall, amazing beer.

Deep golden amber color with orange pekoe, apple pie with slight caramel sweet malty backbone. Smells very big. Drinks very big and heavy with orange juice and apple pie. Definetlely feels like 11% but not overly boozy and for what it is, it’s fairly drinkable. Very nice

16oz can thanks to Rich. Golden colored pour with small frothy white head. Big dank hoppy nose, citrus notes follow. Taste focuses on the citrus, some malt sweetness evident, and of course a big funky hop finish.

Keg at the brewery tap room, 29/01/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is sticky hop drool, dank fumeage, grapefruit, straw, orange pith. Taste comprises sticky tropicana, grapefruit shreds, bitter orange, grain, toasted malt, pine needle. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness and a subtle boost factor in the close. Another well balanced and easy to drink DIPA from these guys.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrua. Pours a very hazy yellow with full white head. Showcase of tropical fruit and juice. The alcohol is hidden very well in this. Holds up nicely without too much residual sweetness from the malt. Tasty.
