Ei tundu väga värske, brett?! Vbla liin mitte kõige puhtam. Muidu iseenesest pole paha.

30th December 2019
Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, mild to medium sweet. Hop profile is dominated by bitterish grapefruit and orange, a lot of peel in there. Underneath, a little pine and a touch of juicier fresher citrus. Light finish. Nicely done.

West Coast IPA (at least that seems to be the intention) by this young but established craft brewery in the southern Netherlands. From tap at Mout in Groningen. Dense and creamy, thick, foamy, eggshell-white had, clear ‘metallic’ orange golden robe with amberish tinge. Aroma of orange peel, pink grapefruit, warm arachis oil, dry biscuit, unripe mango, pink peppercorns, Cointreau, ginger, faint hint of damp kitchen towels. Cleanly fruity onset, sweetish and fruity more from malts than anything else, sweet orange flesh and dried mango hints, medium carbonation; full, smooth, oily body. Lovely biscuity maltiness drenched in resinous, orange liqueur-isgh and grapefruit peel-like hoppinss, bitter and rooty, stretching all over the finish while that sweeter dried mango cube and orange note persists. Nice, dry, focused and clean, this qualifies as a West Coast IPA even more than I was expecting. Certainly among the better Frontaal beers I had so far (not that the rest was so terrible, of course…).
