Purple color. No head, lucious fruity nose of Haskap, cream pie. Yummy. Slightly tart nose. The mouth is slightly lightly tart, haskap berries, good acidity, light and balanced. Wow. This is good shit. Lingering tart finish with with haskap. Superb beer. Haskap isn’t well known and this exemplifies the beer so well. Fantastic.

330ml bottle from Liquors Hasegawa. Poured into a snifter. Pinkish amber color with a huge pink-white head that dissipates fairly quickly but hangs around throughout. All berry aroma present: sour cherry, blueberry, young strawberry on the nose. Light sour taste with a touch of saltiness present. Some light barnyard funkiness as well. Light body with watery texture. Fizzy carbonation with a nice sour and dry finish. As it comes to room temperature the flavors stand out slightly more. The sour berry flavor really takes over with a touch of saltiness in there. Almost like a fruity gose.
