This one is coming from the ex mugi shop, Bussigny. Best before 01/23, after a wonderful walk through the Lavaux. Interesting one, light and watery at the beginning, becoming more intense at the final, roasty, a bit smocked, malty, coffee, hop, a bit fruity, 20.09.23

Tap (Park Bar). Black, dense beige head. Aroma of bread, gentle roast, chocolate. Creamy. Not all that sweet with gentle roast, modest bitterness. Just wanted a little more of a finish, but not bad.

Bottle, from Mitsuwa Marketplace, Edgewater NJ (Sept 2024). Pours clear dark brown with ruby red highlights, large foamy dark beige head, dark roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, bitterish dark roasted malt taste with mocha latte feel, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Smooth and well crafted.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca porta note di miele, caramello, pane, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, nocciola, frutta secca, agrumi, mandarino, erbe e frutta disidratata.
