Poured from a 12 oz (355 ml) can: beautiful straw yellow color with a full head of foam. Carbonation jumping. Strong smell of lemongrass and clove, with a hint of banana upon first smell. Light-bodied and watery on the palate with a dry finish. Taste is pepper-forward with hints of citrus, especially lemon zest. Nice saison. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stillwater Classique on 10 May 2015 at 11:05 - Score: 7

A hazed yellow beer with a thick receding frothy white head. In aroma, pleasant grassy malt, no corn, light Brett, herbaceous hops, very nice and saison like. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light silky character, grassy hops, very nice, and well maintained in the can after 2 years. 2.99 a can in Brooklyn.

Craft Islington. Keg. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and crisp and semi dry. Light pale malts and light floralness. Herby streak. Mild tangy dried fruits. Little ester. Everything about this says Saison. Light crisp finish brings a little tangy orange peel. Not bad.

Keg at Craft Clerko. It pours clear gold with a medium white. The nose is fresh, floral, lemon peel, grapefruit, juicy, straw and sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, peppery, lemon peel, grapefruit rind, floral, spice and some minerals with a dry, citrussy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and crushable. Refreshingly refreshing.
