Draft from the tiger. Fizzy head. Aroma is fruits and spices as is taste. Not bad but kind of biting.

Some rose and hibiscus. A little roast and some hay. Some rust, but this is a fairly old bottle. Some oakiness in the finish. Berries are kind of faded here. Dark brown murky pour with decent mocha head. Bottle from Max's.

Bottle. Interesting. Aroma is roasty, almost stout like, caramel, light spice and a little fruity. Burnt sugar sweetness is at the front of the taste and dominates. Finish is dark fruit. Middle is a bit tricky, I'm saying floral, but clearly being swayed by the beer description. Full bodied for a saison. Pretty nice.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Dark brown, beige head. Yeast, floral, roast, spiciness, candy, caramel, nuts, sweetish, bitterish touch, medium-bodied. Not my thing.

At a tasting, small creamy bubbly head, quite clear deep brown color, aroma of chocolate and mud with some cake maltiness behind and a bit of yeastiness, flavor of dark chocolate and charcoal with a bit of shrubs, lively carbonation. Quite mellow, nice and enjoyable.

Clear, dark beer with a bubbly, off-white head. Smells of malt, toffee and chocolate. Taste has all of those too, along with a spicy quality and some fruit. Dry spiced aftertaste. It's airy, tasty and quite distinctive. A nice twist on what you'd expect, as I've come to expect from Stillwater.

Marrón oscura de abundante espuma tostada, cremosa. Aroma licórico, pasas. En boca tiene buen punto de gas, bastante cuerpo y complejidad. Punto ácido frutal, licórica sin duda. Punto ahumado. Maltas de calidad tostadas. Chocolate. Más seca que dulce. Sabroso postgusto alcohólico. Frescura pese a todo.

Treated as a saison, this was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thin white to off white foamy head quickly dissipating and leaving some messy lacing.
The smell started off with floral sweet notes rolling over some white bread. Delicate sweet rye, and some sweet berries.
The flavor leans to the sweet floral side with a crisp breadiness about it. Wet dark-like bready aftertaste leading into a quick sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides fairly low and easy on my tongue.
Overall, nice saison, I believe it to be one. And I’d have this again.

Bottle from beers of Europe. Dark rich almost black colour with a nice compact tan head. Aroma yeasty fruit, and light toasted malt, lots of berry fruit. Taste slight saison sour, combined with a subtle roasted malty bitterness. Really nice beer a real star.
