Deep red, top-fermented beer. A blend of barley malt, wheat malt, real candy sugar, Hallertau hop and coriander makes for the unique taste of this powerful beer.

A clear amber beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy and the flavor sweet malty with notes of oranges on a dry background.

Sample is a bit aged (BBd 2002) Beautiful chestnut colour, clear. Thick creamy, cream-coloured head, lacey dissipating. Nose of cookies, (caramel) malt, some port, and hops. Bitterish taste, less from hops than from burnt malts. Quite sweetish, but watery underbuild. Perfumed and even soapy palate. Watery, thinnish mouthfeel, empty, sweetish aftertaste. Another one that starts in heaven only to smack painfully down on earth when tasted. Pity.

Clear ruby color, small head. Fruity and malty aroma, slightly alcoholic, licorice i guess. Sharp watery body, sweet and malty, but not well balanced. Palate is slightly alcoholic.
