An infusion of three Kentish hops adorns this beautifully balanced, blood-orange tinted British bitter with an acutely aromatic allure. Hints of marmalade, red grapes and pepper are thrust from a springboard of warm, mellow malts. The floating fruity finish signs off with a smidgen of spice and raspberry.

Smell of malt, biscuits. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma of malt, nuts, some biscuits. Lively carbon. Medium sweet.

A very enjoyable amber with notes of caramel, pepper, cream and sweet biscuit. The bitterness cuts through without counteracting the slightly-too-sweet taste.

500 ml bottle from Sainsbury's, London, England. Pours a crystal clear deep orange-bronze color with a beige head and great retention. Good lacing. Lightly bitter caramel malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Caramel malt flavor with some light bitters in the finish. Better flavor than any of the ordinary bitters I had in England. I'm not getting any of the marmalade flavor. Clean and smooth. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Light bitterness.

Malty fruity, easy to drink with caramelly parts. Nice.
