Tap at Dry Dock. Dark brown colour, small golden head. Aroma is coffee roasty, not much else. Taste is similar, coffee, with a bit of beer. Lighter than most coffee beers, so nice drinkability, naturally less full bodied than a coffee stout. It's alright, but maybe not so exciting. Coffee IPAs and stouts seem to make more sense to me than coffee lagers.

Old rating. On tap at Ushitora. Dark brown with almost no head. Strong dark roasted coffee aromas. A bit of roasted malt. Taste is all coffee. The body is quite light which makes it easy to drink and refreshing in an iced coffee sort of way. Pretty straight-forward but one-dimensional. --- Beer merged from original tick of Coffee Lager on 13 Jul 2015 at 21:06 - Score: 7

Very cloudy brown color that looks unappealing. The nose is plain coffee with some sourness. The mouth is somewhat astringent and tons of coffee. Not really that bad, but pretty one dimensional and not my cup of tea, or many people for that matter.
