On the nose are aromas of dark chocolate, coffee and bacon. The palate combines the salty smoked bacon with roasted malts. It finishes strong and bitter.

Old bottle I found squirrelled away in back. Aromas are dark malt, smoke and molasses. Flavors are similar to nose and lean dry. Just enough sweet, bitter and ever so light carbonation to balance. Way better than I anticipated given its age and ingredients. Coffee is actually still pretty good. I'm really impressed.

Bottled as rauch geek bfast. Pours a dark brown. Aroma is malt and bacon bits. Sweet chewy oatmeal and bacon bit smoked tinge. Pretty good with a lot going on.

Possibly the darkest beer ive ever poured. Big frothy mocha head. Intense aroma of smoke, soy, burnt coffee, and yes, bacon. Carbonation is spot on, the mouthfeel is like velvet. Incredibly easy to drink. Sweet roasted malt finish, a touch of lactose, and another heavy dose of smoke with a meaty finish. Pretty awesome stuff.

Old note. Bottle 33 cl. Really smoked aroma, like bacon, burnt, roasted malts. Taste: wine and whisky, smoked, burnt malts, very good.

Pours a pitch black with a frothy but slighty too bubbly medium thick head. Very nice coffee-cream dark brown colour. Aromas of smokeyness, barbeque, slight meat, coffee, burned malt, liqorice. Slighty hoppy. Taste isn’t that smokey compared to the aroma. It has a lot of coffee and liqorice. Very burned malt profile and some earth. Very nice body.

Bottle. Black and opague. beechwood, bacon and smoked sausage in the aroma and flavor. Hints of licorice and ash. Full bodied. fat mouthfeel, yet quite drinkable.

22 oz bottle shared by a friend, thanks Ben! Mikkeller San Diego brewed version as Rauch Geek Breakfast. Black with tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, malt, cola. Tastes of dark chocolate, roast, light smoke, toffee. Medium-full body with a dry finish.
