A juicy IPA with fresh blood orange resonating through hints of candied peel and sparkling orange blossom.

[June 2023] The appearance of this beer seems to have changed somewhat since I had it back in 2018 - back then it was a murky gold colour (fruity and lovely), but now it's clear and golden with a small bubbly white head and a soft fruity nose. Light bodied with a slightly tart satsuma taste profile, really fresh and lively

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of lemon, blood orange, grapefruit, herbs, biscuit and a bit of sweat. Pours hazy dirty yellow orange color with large off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet biscuity and tart citrusy, following is bready and herbal, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is average bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Tart and far from heart hoppy stream...

Bottle from Homebrew Bottle Shop, Oxton in Birkenhead. Appearance - cloudy orange with nice lacing. Nose - orange and canteloupe melon. Maybe even some papaya and / or passionfruit. Taste - orange, canned apricot and passionfruit. Light green resin and lime finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry, bitter finish. Very refreshing. Overall - very good. Might be pushing it to call this a session ipa rather than regular ipa style.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Last of the barrel. Soupy, vivid orange. Foamy, white head. Nose has squeezed orange and pink grapefruit. Creamy, vanilla malts. Hint of spicy flora. Taste has a soft, creamy sweetness, but is mostly, crisp, sharp, citrus bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Not much carbonation left in this one. Bright and sharp bitterness to finish. Nice one. Would love to try this from a keg.

On tap at Makro Beer Fest in Ljubljana. Pours very hazy yeloow colour, topped with a smaller white head. Tropical fruity nose, a bit gentler. Slight citruses. Moderate bitterness. Slightly herbal with some citruses in the taste as well. Lasting aftertaste, quite herbal. Lighter body. Nice one. Fresh and enjoyable.
