Tap at Beer Brain. Nice enough, bit of resin, pretty easy going. Not ultra exciting though. Some creaminess. Bit malty. Not sure

Tap at Bud. Cloudy, deep orange with a low, fine head. Tropical fruit nose, grapefruit, quite malty and biscuity. Rich but not too sweet. Great fruit flavors, big bitterness, full body. Excellent.

Can from MItsuya’s. Pours a clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Clean and crisp nose with grapefruit, papaya and light mango with some pine resin. Medium to light body with nice carbonation. Super drinkable and thirst-quenching. Good bitter and dry finish that leaves some fruit on the palate. Another great IPA from SE. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hopvine IPA on 05 Oct 2015 at 22:03 - Score: 7

Can from Beer Cats. Hopvine IPA 6.1% made with Columbus, Chinook & Citra hops, continues the winning streak Schooner Exact is on - I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every canned IPA of theirs I’ve had. The beautiful can helps boost my enjoyment too. The aroma on this is terrific, full of huge aromatic fruit & pine notes. The deep copper color is a beauty and it has a massive head of beige foam that lingers before leaving tons of lacing behind. Medium-light bodied with a slightly raspy mouthfeel & a semi-dry finish that gives it a bit of a bite. The taste has just enough malt sweetness to support the oodles & oodles of hops. Pine, citrus, passionfruit, prickly pear, this is one flavorful IPA.

Bottle from BevX360, Bellingham
Hazy light amber color with medium sized head. Fruity aroma, mellow, peachy with a touch of tropical fruit. Off-dry mouthfeel, but smooth; it has a delicate toffee-malt backbone, a bit crackery, the right canvas for a hoppy beer; correct bitterness level, with a reasonable portion of hop fruitiness and some hop resins.
Fresh and drinkable; the beer I like to drink.

22oz bomber from Elise. Pretty solid West Coast IPA, dances a little into the new school with the Citra. This doesn’t smash you over the head with hops, but they are certainly present. Toasty, biscuity malt backdrop, touches of caramel, resin. Really enjoyable IPA, well crafted.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Strong citrus aroma with a hint of caramel. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is astringent citrus with a decent caramel backdrop. Maybe some resin. There is a mild hop burn that builds. It’s really not far from a DIPA, flavorwise. Very, very nice ale.
