This American-hopped IPA marries a bold and complex hop character of pine, citrus and spice with fruity notes and a crisp finish created by our Kölsch yeast.
A slight hazed blonde IPA with fantastic aromas of spicy fine, resinous hop character, and citrus fruit. Balanced flavor between the American hops and our German Kölsch yeast strain provides a very unique backdrop for the hops to interact.

From a 355ml can on 31/10/2016. Pours a light to medium golden with a smallish head. The aroma is pleasant - fresh and fruity, with tropical and stone fruit featuring. Take a sip and sweet citrus and stone fruit kick things off, with some light biscuit malt rounding things off. The bitterness is quite firm, zesty and citrussy with lots of lemon coming through. The hops linger nicely. The bod is medium and the carbonation moderate.This is an enjoyble refreshing summery IPA which is very nicely balanced. Better than the current rating suggests.

12oz can from Sainsbury’s, Bracknell. A pale amber pour with a thick cream head; citrusy aroma with a touch of tropical fruit; lime and pineapple taste, but rather thin; then a pleasant spicy bitterness. Not bad, but lacking that extra something to make it stand out.

Can from Chester Beer and Wine [070916]
Amber, clear, dense frothy white head, light lacing
Aroma of citrus lemon, soft grapefuit, light sweet fruits
Taste of citrus zest, bit spicy, light pale malts, quite herbal, sweet pale caramel malt background, not sure about the hop flavour in this
Palate - Medium body, light oily. Finish of bitter zest, herbal, some bitter alcohol in the linger
Overall - Booze was noticeable, not keen on the hops, didn’t enjoy this all that much

Can at home split with Sarah picked up from supermarket. AVery clear bright golden coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is soft bready malts, cereal, sweet citrus, lemon, little honey. Little whiff of alcohol on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of clean crisp pale grains, lemon rind, mineral, little grapefruit. An assertive biting hop bitterness. Palate is light and refreshing , little thin and a little chalk. Not bad, relatively fresh condition.

(Keg at Oluthuone Lehto, 20161013) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, grass and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, hoppy and bitter. A bit weird for an IPA. Not bad though.
