On draught at Ale Arsenal. Clear and copper with smallish white head that left a collar and dusting across the top. Hops didn’t really shine here and a little under attenuated left it a little too much sugary malt.

On tap at Imazato, pint. A deep golden orange with a candyish tropical fruit hop bouquet that draws me in for my first sip of a raspy light bodied beer that delivers a bitting sweet fruit character at first that then swerved into a bitter bite. Solid.

Tallboy can from Tanakaya drank straight from the can. Huge grapefruit and tangerine nose upon opening. Light bodied but the hides the abv well. Very crushable with more tangerine and some light dekopon notes on the palate. It’s got great balance between sweet, bitter and even a little tanginess from the nectarine and dekopon notes. Finish is dry with more citrus. Really nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Eliot IPA on 29 Mar 2016 at 19:48 - Score: 7. Original review text: This is great and only 514 yen plus tax. Great citrusy bD tropical IPA with a good pithy fruity finish!

On tap at Ex Novo, pours is light with tropical fruits, some light pine and crackery malt. Flavour is pretty standard, with piney hops, some tropical fruits and biscuity malt. Pretty bland and fairly bitter for an IPA. Decent but uninspired.
