22oz bomber pours clear copper with tan head. The aroma is kind of sweet and floral with a slight soapy sugary cotton candy sensation in the background. The taste is pretty spicy with hoppiness and spicy rye like notes. Around the edges are modest notes of sugary malts, floral hops and then it rolls into a bit of soapy to resiny bitter notes. Ok IPA, not something I would seek out.

Bomber from Bevmo Oxnard. Nose is rye bread, buttery caramel, and light citrus. Clear copper orange with a medium beige head. Flavor is bitter with caramel and lemony accents. Not much in the way of bitterness or hoppiness.

On draught at Heroes in Fullerton. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Floral hops and grain in the nose. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character that has floral and pine notes. Bready malt in the background. The finish is hoppy with a rye and grain aftertaste. Decent brew overall.

Bomber. Pours copper with a foamy light beige head. Aroma is rather rye with some floral hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. It really is rye, mildly roasted. The hop does seem highly floral. Might be a touch of citrus. It’s very bitter, and maybe some of that is from the malt. It’s pretty tasty, and stands apart from "normal" IPAs.

Tap. For starters, this should be a CAPITALIZED Hopinator. As it currently stands, this should probably not be on the website (I’ll fix it when I’m an admin or a local admin takes care of it). This is a randalized version of rustic rye ipa. Pours with a golden body and a small off-white head. Aroma is herbal and really fresh citrusy hop flowers. Taste is citrus, caramel, light spice and herbal hops. Medium carbonation, and a lot better that the base beer!

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a clear golden body and a fluffy bone colored head. Aroma of rye malt, and earthy hops. Taste is earthy and herbal with light rye. Their pale has a better and stronger hop profile. Light bubbles.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit - peaches, as well as some notes of malt. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of acidic fruits like lemon as well as notes of brettanomyces, rye, and wood, leading to a tart lemony finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
