Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016. Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier mit geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack süß malzig, leicht schokoladig, naja!

Draft at Delft Beer Festival. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roast, malt, caramel, overripe dark fruit, licorice and light yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [28/08/2016]

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of neutral, slightly grainy, paper, minerals, dark malts, sour caramel, grass, weeds, hints of licorice. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry mineraly, weeds, paper, metal tank, dark malts, sour grass, sour caramel, rosted grain, cardboard. Medium bitterness, watery and sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Crap!

Bottle. Hazy brown color with no head. Aroma is coffee, roastes malts, ash. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, something unpleasant in there. Just ok.

Tap at the Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden. Poured a clear dark brown with thin broken off white head. The aroma is creamy yeast, roasty malt. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a smoky roast liqourice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
