Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark brown with a 4 finger foamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate. Med body. Flavor is quite chocolate with some earthy dark malt. Maybe getting a little coffee towards the end. Finishes pretty dry.

Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a medium beige head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate and sweet malt. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent all around.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a tan head, some lighter glows when held up to a light at the bottom, as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice roasty malt flavour with a hint of earthiness and vanilla at first and some caramel later on. Aftertaste shows more of a refined roasted malt flavour with definite oaky and dry qualities and some light sweetness. Overall, a decent and respectable porter, but bordering on the lighter side made for a good drink. I sampled this pint on draught at SeaTown Restaurant in Seattle, Washington on 10-February-2013 for US$6.00.

Draught at Lockspot Fish & Chips Bar, Seattle
Dark brown color, almost black, but still with some red shade; beige creamy head. Coffeish aroma, roasted malt. Dark chocolate and roasted malt flavor, some pond water. Light body.
Not spectacular, but not bad.

Black, nice lasting tan head. Big roasted nose. More of same in palate, with overtones of licorice and chocolate. Very nice !!
