Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a pale pink with some hugo UFOs that look like cherry flesh and a creamy and lacing white head. Some lactic tartness in the nose combined with a perfumy touch - at this stage I don’t identify cherries. Light in body, solid lactic acidity, some baking yeast off-note and then a fresh whiff of cherries. Nicely balanced, tart enough to remain fresh. 210916

12 oz. bottle, at the Labor Day party at Joe and Diana’s. Pours clear pink, with a fairly big, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is bright maraschino cherries, saltine crackers, and a bit of lacto tartness. Sweet and fruity, with only a touch of tartness, and a mildly salty finish. Light body, very bubbly, a bit acidic, and sticky. Cherry forward, but not in a cloying or offensive way; the gose still shines through, and works very well with the cherries. Straightforward and focused, and it works quite well...

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber to pink with attractive though thin lacing. Nose - cherries with a hint of salt if you look hard enough for it. Taste - salt confirmed. And cherries of course. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. The carbonation is perhaps a little more than I’d expect. Overall - faithful to the style and tasty. The carbonation as I say puts a slight damper on it but still good.

Smak och doft av körsbär, röda bär, röd vinbär med toner av lactos och citrus. Torr, läskedrycksaktig, lätt kropp, lagom sötma, något artificiell i smaken, fin beska.
