33 cL bottle, from the bargain rack at Veteran's. Pours dark brown, with a small, creamy, persistent, tan head. Rich toffee aroma with some anise, dates, maple syrup, and port wine. Sweet and candy like, with a light bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a lively, syrupy, and sticky mouthfeel. This is a lovely, malty, and complex beer.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A decent bubbly beige head over a dark red-brownish body, spotty lacing. Smell of bread and berry skins, with a peaty touch. Comprehensive taste profile of berries, stewed fruits, and caramel on a peaty backbone. Sweet malt-driven end. Full bodied. Heavy to drink and way too sweet for a higher score. Has got some slow sipper qualities though. (Tromsø 20.07.2018).

Bottle, batch 15053. Pours hazy dark brown, with a small, mocha head. Aroma is smoked malts with leather, toffee, kandi and caramel. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark malts, with grains, kandi, dark fruits and wooden barrels.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich and dry fruity, raisins, fruit stones, shed, grass, dark malts, candi sugar, prunes, hay, alcohol, hints of smoke. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, fruit stones, raisins, alcohol, shed, dark malts, grass, minerals, candi sugar, weeds, hints of medicine. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry boozy mouthfeel. Nice one. Will probably age very nice.

Bottle shared. Thanks Jonno! Smokey, umami forward nose with some plum and oak notes. Feels sticky and heavy, but in a good way. Lots of bready malts with some berry and caramel.
