(Tap sample @ Witchstock 2018, Toronto, Sept 29/18) Pours very hazy dark gold with a white head. Notes of pretty dank weed, hop resins, fairly juicy citrus, some zest, pine needles, a little sweetness from the malt and some slightly spicy oniony greenness. Semi-sweet up front, finishing dry and moderately bitter with pine, weed and grass making it rather 'green' overall. Medium bodied, average carbonation. A quality dank-side NEIPA, definitely.

On tap at the source into shaker pint glass (2018), taster pour (2021). Appearance is opaque yellow, finger-width off-white head, no discernible sparkle. Aroma is strong resin, cannabis, herb--somewhere between cooking and musky. Taste follows aroma with mix of strong herb, cannabis, malt backbone, mild grapefruit citrus. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry finish as taste with lingering light bitterness and malt. Overall, contrary to others, I got a strong herbal blast without a lot of fruit or citrus. Maybe speaks to the complexity. Either way, still quality.

Can: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of intense citrusy and tropical fruit notes with some dank notes and light residual sugar notes is quite enticing. Taste is a great mix of citrusy notes with light tropical fruit notes with some dank notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. World-class NEIPA.

16oz can, shared with DCLawyer, thanks Jason! Poured a hazy, bright golden orange color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was super dank notes, juicy notes. Flavor was fresh zesty notes, lots of citrus peel. Slightly bitter finish. Juicy. Slightly more bitter than I expected. Really fresh.
