3.6% on cask 4.2% bottled. It is, quite simply, a wonderful beer. It is exceedingly pale (21-22 units colour), with just a hint of colour in its cheeks from the dash of crystal malt. It has a massive orange fruit aroma from the challengers, balanced by
biscuity malt.
Juicy malt and tart hops vie for attention in the mouth while the finish is tart and hoppy but well balanced by creamy malt. The bitterness rating is a substantial 36-38. The tangy fruit lingers on the back of the tongue until it develops a hint of orange liqueur.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 Dec 2025) Pale amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, slightly hoppy nose with notes of toast, biscuits, citrus and slightly dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with toast, biscuits, citrus, tea and a balanced herbal/earthy bitterness in the finish. Light body, quite dry. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Draft. Poured a bronzey red. Aroma was some hops. Taste was malty and biscuitish. Not too bad.

Creamy white head on an unclear golden coloured body.
Traditional Bitter aroma.
Medium bodied, soft & foaming on the tongue with sharp dry back.
Malt, berry, zesty citrus & resinous tastes with a bitter hopped finish.
That's a great Bitter.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a dark gold with small fluffy white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of grains, bread, citrus and spice. Taste is quite doughy and bready at first then citrus, grass and spice hop profile comes in finishing with some burnt toast and toffee notes. Nice balance between malts and hops here, fairly complex for a bitter. Light to medium bodied, slightly chewy. Excellent bitter.
