Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy blond color, creamy head. Refreshing aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth, the flavor is a bit creamy, but the malt is crisp and the hopping is zesty and resiny.
Well made.

Pours dark amber into a solo. White head with little retention recedes to nothing. Pine and citrus aromas. Dark caramel, resin and pine upfront turning to pith in the lasting finish.

Draught, Alibi. Hazy, light amber. Thin head. Black currant, raspberry and a bit of spruce are the aromatic hop elements, with biscuity amber malts. Piney, grapefruity hops on the palate are more straightforward, and the biscuity malts more pronounced. A fair bit of bitterness... a classic Cali APA, really.

Bottle, 22oz. A hazy orange coloured beer with a small, dense off-white head. Oranges, some grapefruit and pine cones in the aroma, some sweetish malts too. It’s smooth and medium to full body, semi-sweet. Nice bitterness. Oranges, pine cones, resins and citrus zest in the flavor. Long hoppy finish. A bit boring, but sure drinkable. 170412

650 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany color with moderate head. Aromas of burnt muddled fruit and wet malts. Flavors of same with light piney bitterness. Nothing to write home about. Home brew...

On tap at Mikkeller San Diego, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and light piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with bitter piney hops and crisp crackery malt. Pretty bitter on the finish, with a big blast of bittering hops. Solid.
