Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Roasty aroma with caramel malt, soft coconut, chocolate, molasses, and liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is full. The coconut is more modest than I expected. Quite nice, though it really needs a lot more coconut.

Bottle. A dark brown beer with a small, dense, dark beige head. A bit alcoholic aroma, with roasted malts, some spiced hints, a touch of dark dried fruit and some burnt hints. It's full bodied and softly carbonated, quite smooth and dry, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, toast, coffee grit hints, some dark chocolate and bonfire in the flavor. Piney hints. Lasting finish. A bit too dry, but sure fine. 240907

Semmi hab, bordó árnyalatú fekete szín. Kávés, kakaós, kókuszos illat, némi aszalt gyümölcsös beütéssel. Kávés, kakaós, csokis ízek, aszalt gyümölcsös, kókuszos aromákkal. Testes, édes, enyhén szénsavas, erősen keserű. Nagyon finom, jól összerakott, jó arányokkal rendelkező sör.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of coconut, dark fruits, chocolate, light roasty malt, light boozy sting. Taste has coconut, dark fruits, bitter roasty malt, bready finish.

Semi opaque dark brown beer, short lived tan tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, a reasonably smooth and mild dark chocolate and dark malt cream. Spicy mid. Fruity dark chocolate and smooth mellow coffee underneath. The coconut is pretty light but does provide an overall sweetness. Finishes smooth and somewhat spicy and boozy. Decent, would have liked a bolder coconut treatment.

Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, salty licorice, dark malts, bark, sour-ish roasted grain, alcohol, toast, chocolate, coffee, hints of toasted coconut. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, bark, dark malts, roasted grain, salty licorice, dark sugar, minerals, alcohol, toast, rye bread, coffee, hints of toasted coconut. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Nice enough.
