Pretty clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head. Aroma: weird, funky, very roasted, some coffee, caramel touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: good roast, bitter and hoppy, sweet touch, caramel notes, sugary, some chocolate. Aftertaste: coffee, roast, bitter.

Bottle at a share, 10/18/22. Dark brown, brown head. Coffee and some sweet vanilla and chocolate. Caramel and a little roast. Not overly boozy for the ABV. Nice beer.

Bottle @ Oluf Bagers Black September, Ratebeer Odense. Pours Black with a creamy beige head. Green pepper, nutella. Roast and ashes. Sweet. Oily and slick.

Black september, Oluf Bagers Gade. Black with a small tan head. Roasted aroma of licorice and coffee with a touch of bacon. Sweet and somewhat sugary licorice and chocolate flavour with vanilla.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is malt with lots of chocolate and roast alongside lighter dark caramel and toffee notes. Moderate coffee notes with a roast, nutty character. Hints of alcohol. Pours black with a small, thick, dark mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges where small, thin clumps linger for a bit. No lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with moderately strong chocolate notes along with lighter roast, dark caramel and toffee. Medium light bitterness and a bit of alcohol spice. Moderate coffee notes adding a nice nuttiness and coffee character. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent stout. Solid malt profile with some decent coffee notes. The vanilla is super faint and almost unnoticed.

Woohoo! Less mellow than I expected, harsher. Smooth and thick, though. Very coffee forward, quite sweet, dark chocolate, bunch of vanilla. Quite delicious, excellent combination with the tiramisu. Gorgeous label, of course.

Bottle shared at Alex's birthday bash. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that dissipates quickly. Huge espresso aromas with cold brew coffee, fudge brownie and vanilla bean as it warms. Smooth and thick on the palate with lots of rich brownie and sweet vanilla as it warms. The cold brew coffee and espresso notes hold the sweetness in check. Great mouthfeel. Lingering coffee and chocolate on the finish with vanilla ice cream. Like an affogatto.

Bottle thanks to Grant. Pours black with medium tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong vanilla, roast, cocoa. Slick body, roasted malt, vanilla bean, cocoa, nice sweetness, boozy finish, very nice.

From 650ml bottle thanks to MikeBibere! Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, light alcohol, vanilla, cocoa, chocolate - dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, nutty. Sweet and moderate bitter taste. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.
