A barley-wine style ale. The strong malt character and dark color is produced using a long boil and the fines British and American barley. Rich fruit flavors and aromas are balanced by a pleasant bitter taste. The finish is long and lingering, making the drinker want another...that and the 9% alcohol content.

Bottled. Copper colour, small creamy head. Nutmeg aroma. Sweet with rich, dense malt character. Very hoppy with lingering herbal bitter finish. Most certainly warming.

Hazy dark amber color; big creamy head. Nice aroma, a bit malty, a lot hoppy (fruity and flowery hops). Very good taste, not complex but well balanced between the malt and the hops, with some more hidden notes (caramel, fruitness, fudge, apples or good French cider…). Thanks Mads Berg for sharing this bottle.

A hazy amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet yeasty, but also contains notes of chocolate. The flavor is mainly sweet and yeasty, but with hints of chocolate.
