Bottle. So this is suppose to be a pale ale. But I have to ask. If it looks like an IPA, Smells like an IPA and taste like an IPA it must be an IPA with a pale ale name.
Happy Friday, y'all!
Pretty decent blood orange, but the citrus comes at the end of the sip. still pretty good though.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, lemongrass, some herbs, mild spruce as well as some slight biscuity tones. Flavour is pretty much the same elements, but really fresh. Palate is a bit thin though.

(Bottle) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with pineapple, mango, blood orange, honey and a touch of ginger. Hoppy taste with notes of pineapple, mango, pine needles, pink grapefruit, a touch of sponge cake and a generous citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a good citric hop presence. Very nice.

Lagunitas is a particular favorite brewer, let's try this one. Citrus is a good start and 7.7% abv, not bad either. A discovery at the only craft beer store in the Permian Basin, I am happy to try. I lift the cap and pour into a Belgian snifter. Just feels like the thing to do. An attractive opening, a hazyish, dark gold liquid followed by a here-and-departed near-white head. The nose is grain and honey. And the drink. Hmm, interesting. Better than the nose. I get a wheat direction, some mango, cereal, a little fruit sweetness. No indication of the slightly elevated abv. A touch of bitterness. Ah, it is the travel.

35,5cl from Viking XPRS. Pours slightly hazy golden with a decent white head. Fruity and citrusy aroma with dominating orange notes and hints of malt. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Clean, fruity and refreshing.

Pours hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of resinous hops and dry malt. Taste has intense citrus notes, orange and lemon. Palate has grapefruit notes on the back of the tongue as well as lemongrass. Fantastic!
